The words of Ani Abramian: .
What does the word Art means to me? Art is just a short word for different ideas. To me, art means expressing my feelings. Drawing is like writing a journal to me... but instead of words, I use colors and shapes. And with the adding of characteristics to the people, objects, or even imaginary things around me I make them into my own models.
Drawing is a hobby for me, not a career... yet. Mostly when I draw, I draw from my heart and mind. It was a challenge at first for me to draw from a live model, but now I am all right with any kind of drawing. Any way, these are some of my drawings. If any one wants to see more, I would be honored.
From the first time that I saw a pencil, I started to draw... but I never attended an art class until my first classes at Pasadena's Art Center College of Design in 2004. I would love to be friends with artistic people so I could study their drawings and their ways of artistic exploration. Right now I'm only sixteen, but I'm looking forward to an art career.
